Dragon does deal on drilling rig

Dragon Oil has signed a contract with Lukoil Shelf Limited for provision of the Astra jack-up drilling rig for use in the Cheleken Contract Area offshore Turkmenistan.

The Astra is expected to commence drilling operations for the ISEQ-listed exploration company in Cheleken from early September, and the initial contract duration will be six months.
