C&C, financials help ISEQ gain ground
The ISEQ rose 23.53 points to stand at 8020.45 at 10.30am today.
Food and beverage group C&C was up 15c (2.4%) at €6.45, having revealed profits up 13% for the year ending February 28.
Irish Life and Permanent gained 36c (1.7%) to €21.15. Bank of Ireland was up 7c at €14.77.
Allied Irish Bank was up 3c at €19.00, while Anglo Irish Bank, the morning’s busiest share, gained 1c to €13.81.
Elan was up 20c (1.7%) at €11.75.
Kingspan fell 21c (1.5%) to €13.70. The company confirmed it is in talks with regard to a takeover of the Hytherm/Xtratherm Group.
