RaboDirect launches new funds

Online savings and investment bank RaboDirect.ie has launched two new funds – the Merrill Lynch Japan Opportunities Fund and the Henderson Horizon Asia-Pacific Property Equities Fund.

Today's launch marks its first year in business. RaboDirect also announced that it had achieved record deposits of €700m and investments of €20m and is on track to achieve €1bn within the next six months.

The Merrill Lynch Japan Opportunities Fund will provide customers with the opportunity to invest in companies operating successfully within the Japanese economy.

The Henderson Horizon Asia-Pacific Property Equities Fund will allow customers to invest in property in Australia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Japan.

As with all RaboDirect investment funds, the minimum investment is only €100 with the fund provider’s management fee also included in the price. Entry & exit fees are 0.75% respectively, and investors can exit the fund any time they like as there are no additional early encashment penalties or switching costs.
