Iona announces €486,000 net loss

IT solutions company Iona has announced first quarter revenues of $16.9m (€13.7m), amounting to a net loss of $600,000 (€486,000).

IT solutions company Iona has announced first quarter revenues of $16.9m (€13.7m), amounting to a net loss of $600,000 (€486,000).

Iona Technologies boss Peter Zotto said: "We’re pleased with another good quarter – it’s a solid start to fiscal 2006."

Looking forward, Iona said it expected total revenue for the second quarter of 2006 to be in the range of $16m-$17m (€13m-€14m), with total expenses to be in the range of $17.8-$18.3m (€14.4m-€14.8m).

ISEQ- and NASDAQ-listed Iona is headquartered in Dublin with US headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts and offices worldwide.
