Dixons' Irish stories not affected by overhaul in UK
Dixons' parent company has confirmed there will be no changes to its retail strategy in Ireland following news in the UK that it is to become a mainly internet brand.
Remaining stores in Britain are to go under the Currys name.
DSG retail in Ireland said further Dixons store expansion is planned here.
DSG, which incorporates Dixons, Currys and PC World, employs 650 people here and last year recorded sales of €117m.
