BP figures hit by Russian winter

BP said today that freezing winter weather in Russia had hit production at the unit that produces nearly a quarter of its oil.

The UK’s largest company said its total output between January and March was likely to be 4.025 million barrels of oil a day compared with 4.101 million barrels at the same stage of last year.
