ISEQ makes up earlier losses

The ISEQ index of Irish shares managed to make up for some of it's losses earlier in the week, finishing up 29.64 points to 7975.8.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares managed to make up for some of it's losses earlier in the week, finishing up 29.64 points to 7975.8.

The financial sector enjoyed mixed fortunes. Irish Life and Permanent continued its good form today, rising 25c to €19.55. AIB rose 6c to €19.43.
