AIB Investment Managers win pension fund award

AIB Investment Managers has won the 'Best Balanced Pension Fund Award' for its Yield Focus Fund in the annual Moneymate Investment Awards.

The award is based on analysis of pension funds over the past five years in terms of the returns generated and the level of risk incurred.

The AIB Yield Focus Fund was ranked as the best performing fund with the lowest level of risk over the period. The fund currently has an investment mix of 60% in equities with the balance in fixed interest, property and cash. The equities consist of investments in a select number of top quality companies with an overall focus on those which pay higher dividend yields.

Analysis of the Yield Focus Fund, as carried out by Moneymate, over the past five years shows that you can have superior returns at lower risk. This is a compelling combination for pension fund trustees and private investors alike.”

There is also a 100% equity version of the fund suitable for investors with a longer term horizon or those with property investments seeking to diversify their portfolios.
