ISEQ down, Tullow on the up
The ISEQ index slumped 30.15 points this morning, to stand at 7575.1 at 10.30am.
Tullow Oil was the morning’s best performer, up 15c (3.4%) at €4.55, following the discovery of oil at one of the company’s wells in Uganda.
Ryanair fell 14c (1.7%) to €7.90.
Grafton was up 10c (1.1%) at €9.45, while rival CRH slipped 10c to €25.70.
Insurer FBD fell 20c to €35.80.
Anglo Irish Bank lost 12c to €12.88, while Allied Irish Bank, the morning’s busiest share, fell 10c to €18.15.
Bank of Ireland was down 6c at €13.55, and Irish Life and Permanent was also in the red, falling 5c to €16.95.
