The new chief executive of the Financial Regulator has been named.

Financial Regulator gets new chief exec

The new chief executive of the Financial Regulator has been named.

Patrick Neary, the current prudential director with the regulator, will take up the position in February.

He takes over from Liam O'Reilly, who is retiring from the post.

Mr Neary is a 53-year-old married man from Co Kilkenny with three sons.
