The FTSE 100 Index powered to a new four-year high today as only four blue chip stocks fell into the red.

The FTSE 100 Index powered to a new four-year high today as only four blue chip stocks fell into the red.

Banking stocks were in the money while property companies continued to build on recent successes as the London market looked to end the week in buoyant mood.
