Glanbia appoints new CEO of Consumer Foods Ireland

Glanbia plc has today announced that it has appointed Colin Gordon as chief executive officer of its Irish Consumer Foods business, effective from 1 March 2006.

In this role Colin will be responsible for managing one of the group's core areas of operation and for developing Glanbia's position as the leading supplier of branded and value-added liquid milk, fresh dairy produce, cheeses, soups and spreads in the Irish retail market.
