Reshuffle at Barclays as boss quits
The head of Barclays’ UK operation sparked a major reshuffle at the banking giant today by announcing plans to quit his £1.3m (€1.9m) a year job.
Roger Davis stepped down as chief executive of UK banking – a role overseeing 11 million current accounts and 40,700 staff – in order to look for a new challenge. He will remain available to Barclays until October next year.
