The ISEQ index of shares made modest gains this morning, adding 2.13 points to stand at 7068.4.

The ISEQ index of shares made modest gains this morning, adding 2.13 points to stand at 7068.4.

There were mixed fortunes for the financials. Irish Life & Permanent was up 8c to €16.28 in early trading, while Anglo Irish was up 3c to €11.88.
