Shops warned of legal action over price displays

The Director Consumer Affairs has threatened to take legal action against retailers who fail to display the price of items like sweets and chocolate.

Carmel Foley said recent inspections by her staff had found that 92% of shops were complying with their requirement to display prices, up from 59% earlier this year.
