US firm to expand its Cork operation

Parsons, a US-based global management, engineering, construction and consulting services company, is to expand in Cork.

With the support of IDA Ireland, the firm's expansion will create 80 jobs over the next three years, bringing employment in Cork to 150 by 2008.

The Cork-based operation, which has moved to Cork Airport Business Park, will become the centre of Parsons’ European operations in the biotechnology, industrial, communications, environmental, healthcare and education markets.
