Supermarket group Asda today announced plans to recruit nearly 3,000 new staff across the UK.

Supermarket group Asda today announced plans to recruit nearly 3,000 new staff across the UK.

The North will see the biggest boost from the recruitment drive, with 800 of the new jobs being created in the region.
