Ryanair rise on ISEQ
Ryanair rose 11c to €7.08 following their announcement of a a $1bn (€854m) aircraft expansion plan for its Frankfurt Hahn base.
Ryanair will base 18 aircraft, operate over 50 routes, carry 8 million passengers a year and sustain over 8,000 jobs at Frankfurt Hahn.
That didn't help the ISEQ move into positive territory as it slipped 12.22 points to 6731.57 by 11am this morning.
Of the financial stocks only AIB recorded gains on today's stock exchange, rising 3c to €17.60. Anglo Irish Bank and Irish Life and Permement both slipped 2c to €11.18 and €15.45 respectively. Bank of Ireland fell 4c to €12.76.
Construction companies also fell on today's ISEQ. Grafton plumeted 51c to €8.22, with alsmost 6% of its share price wiped off.
CRH fell 15c to €21.80 and Kingspan fell 8c to €10.10.
