Kingston linked to American firm Carlyle

The mystery party behind an approach for telecoms group Kingston Communications was today said to be an American buyout firm.

TheUK-based group revealed yesterday that it was in talks with an unnamed suitor, which newspapers including the Financial Times said was investment group Carlyle.
