The Dublin stock exchange continued to build on yesterday's gains with another good morning's trading.

The Dublin stock exchange continued to build on yesterday's gains with another good morning's trading.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up 35.82 points to 6513.57 as of 11.05 this morning.

The financials all made positive gains, the biggest being Irish Life and Permanent who rose 15c to €14.40. Bank of Ireland rose 9c to €12.70, Anglo Irish Bank rose 6c to 11.10 and AIB rose 5c to €16.90.

Drinks company C&C also recorded an increase this morning, moving up 17c to €5.15.

Financial services group FBD reorded one of the mornings biggest losses falling 20c to €31.20.
