BP 'working on China partnership deal'

Oil giant BP was silent today on reports that it is courting Chinese leaders over a ground-breaking deal that would mirror its lucrative joint venture in Russia.

BP boss Lord Browne held talks with China’s President Hu Jintao on the sidelines of a United Nations meeting last month about a partnership with Sinopec, the Financial Times reported.
