International security firm to create 20 jobs in Co Cork

An international security company has announced plans to create 20 new jobs in Co Cork over the coming years.

Smiths Detection, which provides "security solutions" to civil and military clients, said the posts would be created at its facility in Ballincollig.

The jobs will be filled by graduates in electronic, mechanical and software engineering.
