Energy group BG today confirmed plans to enter Libya after it was a big winner in the oil-rich nation’s latest auction of exploration licences.

Energy group BG today confirmed plans to enter Libya after it was a big winner in the oil-rich nation’s latest auction of exploration licences.

BG was successful in three of its eight bids to drill for oil in Libya and will form a joint venture with Norwegian group Statoil for one of the projects.
