Ovoca AGM hears reasons for Russian investment
Exploration company Ovoca Gold chairman Roger Turner outlined the rationale for an investment in Russia earlier this year at the firm's AGM in Dublin today.
He said the licence in the Kola peninsula hosts eight prospects, including gold deposits at Oleninskoye, Nyalm and Leshaya where Ovoca is working to expand on the 900,000 ounces (Russian categorised) already reported.
To date Ovoca has drilled 71 holes in the area
Mr Turner also confirmed that the company has been offered several other Russian projects, but declined to outline any of them at this early stage.
