Govt urged to fully implement Sustaining Progress deal

The Government has been urged to demonstrate its commitment to social partnership by implementing all outstanding aspects of the Sustaining Progress agreement.

The call was made at the annual delegate conference of the Irish National Organisation for the Unemployed in Dublin today.

Delegates attending the meeting are due to decide whether the organisation should enter negotiations on a successor agreement to replace the Sustaining Progress deal.
