US Airways and America West complete merger

US Airways Group, Inc. today finalized its merger with America West and will begin operating under the name US Airways.

US Airways Group, Inc. today finalized its merger with America West and will begin operating under the name US Airways.

The merger creates the fifth largest domestic US airline employing nearly 38,000.
