Jacob Fruitfield wins Lir distribution deal

The Jacob Fruitfield Food company has been selected to distribute the premium Lir Chocolates brand in the Irish retail market.

The Jacob Fruitfield Food Company has been selected to distribute the premium Lir Chocolates brand in the Irish retail market.

The distribution agreement was reached after a competitive selection process and is initially for a three-year period. It has immediate effect.

The Jacob Fruitfield Food Group is Irish-owned and managed, formed following the acquisition of Nestle Ireland in 2002 and the subsequent acquisition of the Jacob’s biscuit business in Ireland from Groupe Danone in August 2004.

The company owns Jacob’s, Fruitfield, Chef, Scots Clan and Silvermints, manufactured in its two factories in Tallaght, Dublin.
