US medical firm to create 150 jobs in Co Donegal

A US medical equipment manufacturer has announced plans to create 150 jobs in Letterkenny, Co Donegal.

Zeus Industrial Products said the jobs would be created over the next five years at a new European operations centre in the Letterkenny Business and Technology Park.

More than one-fifth of the staff to be hired will be third-level graduates and will earn more than €37,000-a-year.

The move follows the announcement of another 65 jobs by the electrical components firm PowerBoard in the Co Donegal town of Burnfoot yesterday.
