Estate agency to scrap guide prices in brochures
An international firm of estate agents has announced the scrapping of so-called guide prices in its Irish advertising brochures.
Colliers Jackson Stops said it would be replacing guide prices with a new advised minimum value setting out the lowest amount it believes a property to be worth.
The move was among a range of recommendations made recently by a working group appointed by the Government to examine the auctioneering and estate agency sector.
