ISEQ up as Jurys announces sale
The ISEQ index of shares closed up 29.55 at 6677.28 today, in what was a busy day for companies on the Dublin market.
FBD Holdings led the charge as it added €1.13 to its share price to close at €33.63.
Glanbia fell 14c to €2.55 after their interim results reported a slight drop in their operating profits for this year.
Paddy Power, who also reported a slight drop in profits, fell 40c to €15.20.
Beverage and snacks manufacturer C&C Group rose 29c to €4.60 following their announcement this morning of an 8% increase in turnover.
Jurys added 45c to close at €17.85 following its announcement today that it is set to sell off the five-star Berkeley Court Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin.
The hotel group said it had come to a unanimous decision at a board meeting last night to sell the luxurious hotel as part of a strategic review of its Ballsbridge site.
