New facilities open at revamped Dublin Airport
Passengers at Dublin Airport will have more restaurants and delis to choose from today in the departure gates.
The airport, which caters for 20 million passengers annually, received complaints about the limited selection of eateries after the passenger security screening areas.
The Foodhall, Nude, Brasserie and Bar outlets are to be moved from their current location to the other side of the passenger screening areas.
Dublin Airport director Robert Hilliard said the move was in response to feedback from recent customer surveys.
“I have no doubt that the relocation of the Foodhall, Nude, Brasserie and Bar will not only complement the existing restaurant facilities close to the departure gates but will also provide greater choice to suit a variety of tastes,” he said.
