3 keeps milestone in sights

Mobile phone operator 3 confirmed today that its UK business was on track to pass a key milestone this year after revealing another rise in new customers.

3, owned by Hong Kong-based conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa, said 200,000 people had signed up for its services over the past five months to give it a total of 3.21 million users in the UK.
