ISEQ up, as is Ryanair, Jurys down

The ISEQ index closed up 9.26 points at 6677.7 today.

Ryanair was the biggest gainer, up 24c (3.6%) at €6.89.

Jurys Doyle fell the furthest, down 30c (1.7%) at €17.60. The Irish Takeover Panel today extended the deadline for property company Precinct to make a formal takeover offer for the hotel group.

Food group Kerry dropped 10c to €20.75.

It was a quiet day for the financials, with Anglo Irish Bank dropping 2c to €10.83 and AIB up 1c to €17.63.

Irish Life and Permanent finished the day unchanged at €14.80, while Bank of Ireland also closed at its opening price, €12.90, despite being the day’s most heavily-traded share.
