The European Union made plans today to produce a blacklist of airlines that fail to meet basic safety standards.

The European Union made plans today to produce a blacklist of airlines that fail to meet basic safety standards.

The EU transport commission said it would create a public website which included a list of airlines or aircrafts that had been restricted in any EU country.
