Consumers warned about running up credit card debts

The Consumers' Association has warned shoppers to beware running up massive credit card debts.

Yesterday, the Irish Payment Services Organisation - which represents credit card companies - said the value of sales on laser cards had more than doubled to €4.3bn between 2000 and 2004.
