ISEQ up 4 as Jurys story goes on
The ISEQ index was up 4.24 points mid-morning at 6696.15.
Food group Greencore was up 5c (1.5%) at €3.50.
Insurer FBD dropped 20c to €22.55. The banks made more modest changes. Allied Irish Bank fell 5c to €17.78, while Irish Life and Permanent gained 5c to €14.80.
Bank of Ireland lost 2c to €12.97, while Anglo Irish Bank was unchanged from last night at €10.97.
CRH fell 15c to €22.55. It was the morning’s busiest share. Kingspan gained 5c to €10.50.
Jurys Doyle gained 15c to €17.90 on the news that another party is considering putting in an offer to buy the hotel group.
Paddy Power was steady at €15.75. The bookmakers say they are doing a brisk trade ahead of the Rose of Tralee Festival.
Eircom was also unchanged, at €1.73. The telecom released details of a landlines survey earlier this morning.
