Regulator set to approve 25% increase in gas prices

The Energy Regulator is likely to give the go-ahead for a 25% hike in gas prices from October.

The move will add nearly €200 a year to the average domestic gas bill. The price increase means Bórd Gáis charges will have increased by 45% in the last three years.
