CNG receives takeover approach

The Board of travel group CNG has confirmed an "informal and unsolicited" approach has been made for the company.

"The Approach is very preliminary in nature and there can be no certainty that an offer will ultimately be forthcoming," said a CNG company statement.

The company's board said a further announcement will be made in due course.
