Thorntons confident on annual results

Chocolate maker Thorntons today said annual results should hit market hopes as it reaped the rewards of a drive to sell its products through other retailers.

Thorntons has been closing non-core outlets in the last three years, leaving it with around 380 stores across the UK and Ireland.
