Ryanair announces new Shannon routes

Low-fare airline Ryanair is to introduce two new routes this autumn. The budget carrier will begin weekly services between Shannon and Bristol from October 30.

Then on November 1, Ryanair will start three-times-a-week services between Shannon and the French town of Nantes.

Also, the airline will increase its Shannon-Frankfurt frequency from one flight a week to four from October 31.

The two new routes take the number of destinations served by Ryanair at Shannon in western Ireland to 16. The expansion will result in an additional 200,000 passengers a year at Shannon.
