ISEQ up as Icon gains almost 10%
The ISEQ rose a healthy 43.49 points to 6482.5 this morning.
Technology company Icon, also listed on New York’s Nasdaq, made a gain of €2.41 (9.5%) to €27.71.
Food group Greencore lost 7c (2%) to €3.45. The company announced the appointments of Patrick Coveney and Geoff Doherty to its board this morning.
The financials performed well, with AIB, the morning’s busiest share, up 20c (1.1%) at €17.90.
Irish Life and Permanent was up 10c at €14.50, Bank of Ireland gained 8c to €12.88, while Anglo Irish Bank was up 4c at €9.89.
Ryanair made a gain of 7c (1.1%) this morning, to stand at €6.53, while CRH was up 10c at €21.87.
