Dublin ranked 13th most expensive city in the world
A global survey has reportedly found that Dublin is continuing to get more expensive than other cities throughout the world.
Reports this morning said the Mercer Cost of Living Survey for 2005 ranked the Irish capital as the 13th most expensive city in the world.
Ireland was ranked 14th last year and 21st in 2003.
This morning's reports said Japan was again found to be the most expensive in the world, while Asuncion in Paraguay was found to be cheapest.
The survey covered 144 cities and measured the cost of more than 200 items in each location, including housing, transport, food, clothing and entertainment.
