Irish technology company Pacific IT has been confirmed as Hewlett-Packard’s fastest growing business partner in western Europe for the month of March.

During the month of March the Cork-based company exceeded its sales target by 263%. Pacific IT is part of the Pacific Technology Group, which now employs more than 40 people. Turnover for 2005 is on target to exceed €10m.

In 2005 HP is honouring its top 25 business drivers each month. As the top winner for western Europe in March, Pacific IT will be featured on HP’s website. Quarterly winners receive up to €10,000 in development funds from HP.

Pacific IT sales director Reidín Buckley said: “This is a very significant milestone for Pacific IT. Our continued success is driven by our ongoing investment, which enables us to provide enterprise solutions for our customers."

Pacific IT managing director Ger Scriven added: “We have come a long way in a short space of time. As our reputation continues to grow in the pharmaceutical, medical device, finance and engineering sectors, we expect to see further significant growth going forward.”

Pacific IT has offices in Cork and Dublin and is part of the Pacific Technology Group. The company recently achieved ISO accreditation.
