Jurys Doyle sale plans put 600 jobs at risk
Up to 600 jobs are thought to be under threat as a result of plans by the Jurys Doyle Hotel group to sell off two of its three hotels in Ballsbridge.
Reports indicate that the group could generate up to €160m from the plans, with the sites likely to be redeveloped as apartments.
The chain is also seeking voluntary redundancies at its Burlington Hotel.
The hotel group says it is planning talks with SIPTU on the issue.
