The chief executive of Red FM, Henry Condon, has left the Cork-based radio station.

The chief executive of Red FM, Henry Condon, has left the Cork-based radio station.

Former FM104 chief executive Dermot Hanrahan will take over the post for an interim three-month period.

Mr Condon had been with Red FM since its launch in 2002, and retains a 10% stake in the company.

Irish Examiner and Sunday Business Post owner Thomas Crosbie Holdings, which has a 20% interest in Red FM, has expressed thanks to Mr Condon for his work at Red FM and wished him all the best for his future.
