BA says oil prices could cost $7bn
The boss of British Airways warned today that the aviation industry could lose as much as $7bn (€5.7bn/£3.85bn) this year as high oil prices take their toll.
Rod Eddington said the rising fuel bills faced by airlines meant that industry losses would be steeper than the $5bn (€4bn/£2.75bn) deficit in 2004.
