Eurest wins €5m deal with Fota
Eurest has won a €5m contract to provide the catering services at Fota Wildlife Park in east Cork.
The leading catering company will operate the 100-seater restaurant for the next five years — serving about 350,000 park visitors a year, offering a family friendly food service.
New to the park will be a daily carvery, avanti pizza supported by Cuisine de France, seasonal salad bowls and very popular panini hot sandwiches on offer.
Fota commercial director Helen Murphy told the Evening Echo: “Fota Wildlife Park celebrated its 21st birthday last year and in its lifetime the park has developed a reputation for innovation and constant development.
“The awarding of our catering contract to Eurest marks a continuation of this tradition. In selecting Eurest our aim is to make a visit to our restaurant an integral part of the Fota Wildlife Park experience.”
Terry Woods, operations director for Eurest said: “We are delighted to have secured the catering contract with Fota Wildlife Park for the next five years.
“With the introduction of variety and innovative family meal offerings, the standard and presentation will be reflective of latest developments and trends within the industry, creating a broader-based appeal to a wider range of visitors.
