Cadbury buys organic chocolate firm

Cadbury Schweppes tapped into the growing appetite of consumers for organic chocolate today through the purchase of confectionery maker Green & Black’s.

It confirmed a deal for the fair-trade firm at a time when health-conscious consumers are buying more products that are low in sugars and fats.
