EasyJet flying high as passenger figures climb

Budget airline easyJet flew 2.44 million passengers in April as it continued to boost its network.

The monthly figure represented a 25.2% increase on a year earlier and meant the Luton-based operator carried 27.49 million passengers in the 12 months to the end of last month.
