A US electronics firm has announced plans to lay off 25 workers at its facility in the Shannon industrial estate in Co Clare.

A US electronics firm has announced plans to lay off 25 workers at its facility in the Shannon industrial estate in Co Clare.

Molex, which also has an operation in Millstreet, Co Cork, said it was planning to close the Shannon facility as part of a restructuring of its Irish business.
